Frequently asked questions
Booking, cancellation policy, passports, and everything else.
Booking
How do I book a tour?
Click Book Now on any tour page and our booking widget (powered by FareHarbor) opens with available dates. You can pay securely in the widget — no account required.
What is your cancellation policy?
Placeholder — client to supply revised cancellation copy.
Full refund if cancelled more than 72 hours before your tour. Cancellations inside 72 hours are non-refundable. Weather cancellations by Skagway Tours are fully refundable.
Passports & Border
Do I really need a passport?
Yes. Every Skagway Tours route crosses into Canada. US and Canadian citizens need a valid passport, NEXUS card, or approved alternative. International guests generally need a passport and any required visa. No passport, no tour, no kidding — see our passport requirements page for full details.
Logistics
Where do I meet the tour?
Cruise passengers meet at the dock — our driver-guide will be waiting at your ship’s gangway with a Skagway Tours sign. Independent travelers meet at Centennial Park in downtown Skagway. Send us your ship and arrival time via the Find us form and we’ll confirm.
What if the weather is bad?
We run in most weather — you’ll see Alaska and the Yukon at their most dramatic. If Skagway Tours cancels a departure due to unsafe conditions, you receive a full refund. See also our cancellation policy.
